"By the time we took him to the doctor, he was already.. It can’t be~" both Jun and Ohno glance over to the innocent looking Sho.

Ohno and Jun somehow managed to drag Sho to school the next day but they were like body guards. They were technically attached to Sho as if they were glued onto him. Without Sho leaving his sight, Jun who was next to Ohno began to sink deeply into his thoughts.
Both Jun and Ohno glance over at the innocent looking Sho who snuggled himself behind the sheets as both his friends were staring at him as if he was food. A blink of an eye and Ohno had disappeared. The next thing was Ohno was next to Sho holding him down as Jun cut Sho’s wrist for some excess to his blood.
The blood from Sho’s wrist actually contained all types of blood group. It’s a no wonder why Sho’s been ill lately. It was not because of his ‘Orku’ but was because of the sudden change of blood.
"Jun~~ Jun-kun~ Oi, Jun~" Sho whined.
"Ahh, yes yes.." Jun answered, finally snapping out of his thoughts.
"Daijoubu??"
"Yes~ I’m fine. I was just thinking." Jun smiled. "Where’s Ohno?"
"He went to the wash room. You were spacing out." Sho laughed.
Jun laughed along with Sho. Sho was just too cute to ignore and to not protect. Sho is still totally clueless of why Ohno and Jun were acting strangely protective of him out of a sudden. His wrist still hurts from the wound Jun gave him.
"Sho-kun~ wanna go to the roof?"
"Roof? Err~" Sho seemed hesitant to Jun’s request.
"Dame yo~ My Sho-chan is afraid of heights." Aiba suddenly came into the picture and ruined Jun’s plans.
"Your Sho-chan??" Jun raised his questioning voice.
Aiba smiled and ignored Jun. "ne~ Do you eat more like I told you to?" Aiba leaned closer to Sho while Sho looked away.
"Let’s go Sho." Jun dragged Sho out of Aiba’s reach.
Sho followed helplessly as Jun dragged him by the hand, hurting Sho’s wrist in the process. Sho whined in pain but Jun was too distracted by his thoughts to notice.
"You’re hurting him~" Aiba is now standing in front of them.
‘How did he?’ Sho thought.
In an instant, Sho was in Aiba’s arms. Jun was standing there shocked at Aiba’s speed. Ohno came running when he noticed both Sho and Jun were missing when he returned from the washroom. Everything happened so fast that they couldn’t let everything sink into their heads. Sho is now in Aiba’s hands.
"Aiba-kun, please return Sho-chan to us." Ohno said as politely as possible, trying to control his negative emotions about this guy.
"Return him? He’s not yours to even begin with." he smirked.
"He may not be, but he’s an important friend. We won’t let you do him any harm." Ohno said, firm.
"But isn’t it you the ones who hurt him first~" Aiba grinned, licking Sho’s wrist.
Sho closed his eyes shut tightly due to the intense sting on the wound with Aiba’s licks. The licks on Sho’s wrist were gentle and warm despise the pain coming from it.
"Feeling better now?" Aiba asked, looking up into Sho’s beautiful brown eyes.
Sho nodded as he felt the reduced pain on his wrist but when he actually glance through his wrist, he found out that the whole wound was healed. It’s like he was never cut at all.
"How~" Sho couldn’t finish his question when Ohno cut in.
"He’s a vampire." Ohno felt uncomfortable but ignored it. Jun thought otherwise.
"Who’s there?!"
"Ahh~ I got caught. Aiba-chan, shouldn’t you tell them already?" the guy said, coming out from his hiding place.
"Kazu~ it’s bad to eavesdrop." Aiba nagged.
"Heh~ I’m Ninomiya Kazunari, your worst nightmare." as Nino finished his sentence, Aiba could feel Sho tensed up.
"Kazu. You’re frightening him." Aiba nagged again.
"Joking joking~ Aiba-chan, you sound like my grandpa, you nag too much" Nino laughed.
"Sorry to ruin your atmosphere here but.." Jun coughed. "If you don’t return Sho to us, we’re not gonna let you go."
"Who needs you to let us go? But still.." Aiba sighed. "We’ll hang out next time kay." Aiba smiled at Sho and walked away with Nino.
"That was easy~" Ohno commented.
"But I don’t think it’s the end of it."
Sho stood there staring at Aiba’s figure disappearing at the corner of the building. He held onto his wrist, the warm sensation of the licks Aiba gave him was still lingering around.

Sho and Jun were in the library studying since exams are just round the corner. Though Sho was a little of an exception in the school, he doesn’t want to fail at any subjects.
"Jun-kun~" Sho started as he look up from his notebook.
"hmm?"
"Is Aiba-kun a bad person?"
"Eh?" Jun was taken aback by Sho’s sudden question.
"The girls from before said that I should get away from him, and both you and Oh-chan were very protective when it involves him.." Sho looked away to avoid eye contact with Jun. "I was just wondering if he’s a bad person."
"Well, he can’t really be considered as a bad person.." Jun smiled. "but his family background made us have doubts about his real personality."
"Family background?" Sho suddenly thought about himself.
Sho laughed a sarcastic laugh and went back to his book. Jun was left dumb founded. ‘What was that laugh all about? ’
"Sho-kun, are you okay?" Jun asked, concerned about the sudden change of his friends attitude.
"… I’m fine.." Sho said nothing else and ran out of the library.
Running as far as his legs could take him, he has no idea where he was heading to. He was just running away, trying to escape from reality. Reality always hurts a person’s heart to the core. Running with his eyes closed as flash backs of the past came to him, Sho bumped into the exact same person whom he bumped into when trying to escape from those persistent girls.
"wow~ What brings you to this area?" Aiba asked jokingly not sensing the odd atmosphere around Sho. "Are you okay? You look pale."
Sho could only shake his head in respond. He did not have the strength to even give a proper responds anymore. If given a choice, he would rather have disappeared from the surface of the earth. Having that negative emotion lingering all over him, Sho continued to run, but this time with Aiba chasing after him. Who could out run a vampire? Not Sho alright.
"Hey! What’s wrong?" Aiba caught hold of Sho’s wrist, the very same spot he licked.
Sho froze as he felt like there was electricity running through his body. His whole world seemed to have stopped, nothing moved, and the next thing he knew was his visions a blurred.
"Sakurai-san?" Aiba asked, his voice filled with concern.
After receiving no answer from the other, Aiba took Sho into his embrace. Hugging him tightly, assuring him that everything will be fine.
"Cry all you want. I’ll be here for you." Aiba said even though he hasn’t has the slightest clue why Sho was crying.
With that, Sho buried his head onto the taller man’s chest, sobbing away. Drowning in his own memories, Sho could not stop his flow of tears. Aiba was beginning to get worried. For as long as Sho has transferred to Tsuki High School, he’s never ever seen him in such a state. He was often seen smiling. Besides, the area they’re standing at now is no place for a human like Sho to be at.
"Sho? Let’s go somewhere safe. It’s not a good idea to stay here and it’s getting dark." Aiba said, slowly lifting Sho’s head do that he could see his eyes.
Sho’s innocent looking brown eyes were staring straight into Aiba’s. Sho nodded in respond and followed Aiba who was walking away towards a mansion. Aiba took Sho to the scary looking mansion, his house. Sho followed nonetheless even though he was beginning to have doubts.
"Make yourself feel at home. I’m not gonna eat you." Aiba said when he noticed Sho’s fearful expression.
"I’m fine~" Sho said after an awfully long silence.
Aiba smiled. "So care to tell me what happened?"
"Nothing happened."
Aiba was speechless, whether or not to dig into this boy’s history. He would have ignored him when he bumped into him if he weren’t Sakurai Sho. ‘Why am I so attached to him?’
‘That’s a pretty stupid question.’ Nino walked into the room.
"Ninomiya-san~" Sho glanced over to Nino.
"Don’t look at me like that." Nino said trying to resist the innocent eyes. "This is also my home. I live here, I didn’t break in." Nino pouted.
"Mah mah, Kazu." Aiba walked over to the window. ‘Am I going insane?’
‘No you’re not. I would have did the honor to kill you if you’ve really went out of your mind.’
"Oi~ Kazu stop invading my thoughts, it’s annoying!" Aiba barked.
"Ninomiya-san, can I have some time alone with Aiba-kun please?" Sho asked ever so politely, even the brat couldn’t fight back.
Nino nodded and left the room leaving the 2 alone in the room. Aiba could feel his heartbeat speeding up when he heard his door clicked after Nino went out. Sho on the other hand did not know how to start a conversation with him although he was the one requested to be left alone with him.
"Ano~" Sho’s voice cracked as he tried to speak. "I’m sorry for just now."
Aiba tensed up. ‘You don’t have to be sorry. I was glad to be there for you.’ "Nn~ it’s okay."
Aiba heard soft footsteps walking towards him by the window. He was sure that his heart would jump out of his chest if he didn’t try to control his heartbeat. It would be damn embarrassing if anyone were to find out that Aiba Masaki, the vampire was so weak against Sakurai Sho, a mere human being.
"Aiba-kun~ I know it’s odd to ask you this since I did follow you here but -" Sho was hesitant. "- are you some sort of a bad guy?" Sho asked, looking straight into Aiba’s eyes, melting him in the process.
Aiba could not respond. He was frozen by the sudden question. It wasn’t like he wanted to be the bad guy. Vampires by nature are scary and cruel creatures but he was indeed a nice and loving one. Aiba did not choose to be a vampire, he was born as one, but he dare not voice out, thus became what people think he is.
"Maybe.. It actually depends on what you think." Aiba said, looking at an unreachable place through the window.
"Eh~ what does that suppose to mean, don’t you know whether you yourself is bad or good?" Sho asked, raising an eyebrow in a totally innocent yet adorable way.
"It means it’s for you to judge whether I’m to be trusted or not. It depends on you to think if I’m the good or bad type. It’s all up to you~!" Aiba was losing his patience even if the one he was talking to was Sho.
Sho was taken aback by Aiba’s reaction. He didn’t expect Aiba to react like that. Did he ask too much? "Gomen~" Sho said weakly, but sincerely.
Hearing Sho apologize made Aiba feel guilty to what he’s said. He might be a little tpo harsh on him. Sho retreated to standing near Aiba’s bed instead of standing by the window near Aiba like he had moments ago.
Aiba slowly got up from the window still and walked towards Sho who’s also slowly backing away. Aiba fasten his pace and grabbed hold of Sho, hugging him.
"Gomen~ I shouldn’t have been so harsh, but that’s indeed the truth." Aiba whispered softly into Sho’s ears.
Sho did not move a muscle, letting Aiba hug him. He wanted the hug to last longer but it was impossible. Aiba pulled away and looked Sho into the eyes.
"So do you trust me?"
Sho slightly shook his head. "It’s not for me to judge." Sho slowly but surely, letting his emotions take control. "It’s for you to tell me what you really think of yourself and not let -" Sho’s voice slowly trialed off.
"Not let what?" Aiba asked. "Are you feeling ill again?" Aiba was beginning to get worried feeling Sho trembling in his arms.
"Do… don’t let.. your family background.. take over~" Sho mumbled but still audible for Aiba to hear.
"Sho, did something happen?"
"Unn~" Sho shook his head a bit. "I just don’t like it~"
"Jya, will you trust me if I say I the good guy?" Aiba asked, smiling.
Sho nodded. Aiba could feel butterflies in his tummy. ‘What’s with me today?’ Sho’s phone suddenly ran, bringing Aiba back to reality and Sho freed himself from Aiba’s embrace to answer his call.
