Then as I was leaving she said, "See you Monday ( Read more... )

Wait, were you talking about the job or me finally putting my vote where my mouth is?

Or both?

Either way, thanks.

It's pretty funny seeing the Republican candidates trying to distance themselves from Bush and the Democrats trying to show how pro-military they are.

I am digging through voting records right now to try to figure out who to vote for. Too bad that only gives me an idea of the incumbents' position, though.

It was the last day to register, too. I had held off because I thought I needed a WA state license, and I don't have one yet. Turns out I didn't.

The other three people in the county auditor's office were also using CADL for ID.

You know if you had showed your matricular conselar card they'd've sent you to the front of the line. Oh wait no, you're not in southern California. My bad.

Yeah, it seems Canadians are not hopping the fence in droves up here, (Though I hear in the NorEastern U.S. they do have problems with illegal Canadian immigration, mostly in Construction.) And no, they don't take Canadian ID up here for voter reg. I meant CA as in Cali, not Canada, if that was confusing. It seems like at least half the folks up here are from somewhere else, and tons of them are from Cali.
