Oh I'm so sorry! I have two cats and three dogs of my own. I dread the day when I have to go through this myself. Again, I'm really sorry this happened, especially out of the blue like that. You just have to keep telling yourself that she's at peace now and she had a good life. *hugs*

I'm so sorry for your loss. Losing a pet is always heartbreaking, no matter the circumstances. They, all too easily, become part of your family, and to lose one is like losing a member of your family. All I can say is that she's not suffering or in any pain now.
