As Jack pointed out to me yesterday afternoon, I get sick a lot. I currently have a sinus infection. I don't know if you've ever had one but it's kind of like having the flu and mono at the same time. Your head is congested but your nose still runs. I go through these personality phases. Sometimes I'm the nicest person ever and I'll do anything for you, sometimes I'm stressed out/introspective and I want to spend a lot of time alone...lately I've been in don't fuck with me mode. I feel violent. -

My friend's mom died tonight. I can't even begin to imagine the kind of hurt he must be feeling. I have no idea what to say...I don't even think there IS a right thing to say. Be grateful for what you have and more importantly, the ones you have around you. -

The best thing about going back to Winston for a night is that we always meet up in big groups, do our thing, and then disperse at the same time. In Wilmington and in Greensboro the nights come to an end with a trickle effect: People go home one person at a time. I'm not sure how I manage to work 40+ hours a week and still hang out as much as I do.
I can't stop listening to the new Minus the Bear (Planet of Ice). Not even long enough to check out the new Circa Survive, the new Dream Theater, or the new Ion Dissonance.
