[Campbell is not usually the sort to frequent libraries, and especially not when they are as irritating as this one, but he really was intending to at least do a modicum of research on investing (Read as: one book) so that he'd sound decently knowledgable at the bank tomorrow. Of course, he only has SO much time off from his jobs, and he's prone to rushing about anyway, not to mention he has all the grace of a marionette, so it's not unsurprising that upon encountering Alester, he fails to notice him at all. This, quite naturally, results in him catching his foot into Alester's side and sprawling face first onto the floor. Turning to see what his shins are resting upon, he notices Alester and pulls his feet away, starting to prop himself up, a look of confusion and incredulity on his face.]
