IDK man, I'm kind of looking forward to the Lisa/Dean/Sam angst. lol As long as there isn't too much of it. I mean, we know for sure that Lisa's only gonna be in a few episodes, right? I'm sure things will get back to 'normal' in no time. Let the healing begin!

What I want to know is: how does Cas fit into the story?

lol, fingers crossed for that. I'm holding out for some Winchester healing!

 No one has yet mentioned Cas and his roll in s6 so I have no idea. I'm very worried for him.

Maybe he'll just drop in when Sam and Dean get into trouble and be like "HAAAAY WINCHESTERS, NOW THAT I'VE SAVED YOUR MORTAL ASSES, LET'S GET CRUNK" and they'll all have sex with each other.

...A girl can dream can't she?

So Lisa and Ben are the people he cares about? Seriously? I just can't buy Dean's family angst.

I thought his one and true love was Sam. I love Castiel, but I'm willing to take the brotherly codependency at this point. Sam and Dean forever on the road! None of this suburbia crap!

IKR!!? That line killed me in so many ways. Apparently random chick and random kid are the only things Dean can care about. Forget that beloved brother, that man who gave his house and paternal love for him, oh and who was that angel again?

Sam >>>>>>>> Lisa any day.

It really irks me how she was tacked on at the last second. Not too many things about the show bother me, but man, this is one of them. Of course, then fandom gets labeled as woman hating, but really, it's because they keep shoving these half-developed characters down our throats who are obviously only there to be love interests.

That's why Pam and Ellen were awesome. They *weren't* the designated love interests, so the writers were forced to *gasp* develop them as characters on their own!

It's not woman hating if the character is a one-dimensional card board cutout without a proper personality because she was only meant to be 'that one chick' in 'that one episode'. If the show wants a Dean/woman OC so bad then they should have actually written a good one. And that's just about writing good characters and stories not this half-baked shit.

Pam and Ellen where two of the best women characters on this show and I loved them.

They *weren't* the designated love interests, so the writers were forced to *gasp* develop them as characters on their own!

THIS! THIS SO MUCH.

Idgi, what's the big deal? Am I the only one in fandom who thinks this is good...? Besides, he said she's not going to be riding backseat or anything. I mean, they can't hunt forever. I think Dean deserves the chance to have a family. *shrug*

lol, no luv, I'm sure there are people out there who feel the same. I feel a bit differently about the situation but that's fine, I'm glad at least someone I know will be enjoying s6 even if it's looking poorly from my point of view.

It upsets me when people think badly of the show - I don't know why, since it doesn't stop me from liking it, but it does. So just hang in there and hope that the situation isn't as bad as it seems. I've freaked out over spoilers before and they turned out to be not a big deal at all, or just a one or two episode story arc and not something that completely changes the show forever. Sera, Kripke, and everyone else knows that the show works because of Sam and Dean and they wouldn't be stupid enough to let Lisa & Ben come between them permanently.

A piece of me is never going to stop loving this show no matter what. It's still my favorite ever and I can't help that, I guess why I get so ranty and kind of bitchy about it is because I love it so much I don't want it to have a run I dislike (because I could never not like the whole). I have a inkling of hope that it isn't as bad as it looks and I'm going to continue to watch it until the final credits role it's just depends on how happy of a viewer I'll be.

Season 6 will revolve around Dean’s new life as loving husband to Lisa and doting father to Ben. I keed, I keed.

Ngl, I came close to crying in fear from that alone. That was just a cruel joke, even worse it's one that's not too far from the mark.

Ikr? Groan. Brother, sacrificing angel and surrogate father mean nothing these days I guess.

Ausiello is having a bad day in the 'telling apart a Greek god/Spaceshuttle' department apparently. :/
