I've taken a sorta/kinda vaca from fandom for two three reasons. 1 I'm a lazy ass 2 Show hasn't done much in their efforts to get me very excited about it enough to be active in the fandom 3 I HAVE A JOB NOW WHEEEEEEE. I loved the Smoke on The Water scene for the Impala. She deserved it, gawd that car is so hot. Dean unclothed her like he was revealing an old lover. lol.

GAWD I HADN'T THOUGHT OF CAS VS SHAPESHIPTER!CAS. :drools: If it ever happens I fear it would be incredibly unfair to my lady parts. All I can think about is how damn right sultry Misha would be. Im sorry to see you not feeling the show, I really thought you were one of the people who were excited about S6 despite its apparent failings. I havent watched anything yet, this isnt my show, it will be back in 603, I hope, and thats when I watch and flail!

Ugh, Deep Purple! So perfect for the montage! <3 I watched that cuz damn the Impala was missed. And methinks the fandom quite forgot about everything else in the episode cuz of the ending lol. It still sounds like it was an ordinary episode.

Yeah, nearing the premiere, in a rush of naivety apparently, I started to get my hopes up and get excited for the show again. I really should have been like you and stepped beck from the first two but I couldn't help myself. I had hopes, not high, but hopeful and, well, you can see where that got me... It's not a total let down though, it's just hasn't gotten to the point where all the things I felt failing in the finale have been fixed, just drawn out. It's like just pull the bandaid and get to the healing already! But no they taking their sweet ass time, and :shrug: I supposes they kind of have to. Still hate it tho. :P

LOL, I dont blame you, almost everyone has watched the show, even the ones who wanted to sit out. Its hard to remain unexcited about a show you love so much. Its sad how disillusioned I am with the show, I hadnt realised just how much, till S6 got here and I found myself not wanting to watch it, even a little bit. :( I hope 603 can bring back the love, and like you said, fix what they messed up in the S5 finale!

Ugh, SPN is confusing me so much rn. I don't really know what to do with it at the moment which is kind of the reason why I'm backing away from fandom for a bit until things feel right again. I don't want to unnecessarily whine about things and bug people, and I don't even think that whining is really what I want to do! Idk, like I said: so confused and conflicted right now. @_______@

Aww I don't blame you. I miss what the show used to be, I just can't pinpoint what it is that is missing, things just seem up in the air at the moment. Confused and conflicted is definitely how I feel about things too...though I liked 6x01 much more than I thought I was going to. The last episode I was in two minds about, just because I couldn't make up my mind about it.

I think it may have to do with Sam. Like Jensen said he thought Dean was WAY too OOC and that he had to finesse him to fit what they were trying to force Dean to do. I'm wondering if the story was similar with Sam and Jared isn't putting the same effort? Its either that or they are purposefully leading up to something with his weird behavior. Either way, I think it takes away from the dynamic that is so important to the show.

Yeah, sort of this. I liked this ep better than 6.01, but all the things I disliked about 6.01 are still there. The only difference is, they were riding in the backseat last night instead of the front.

Oh, and I'm also wondering how much is off with Sam and how much is off with Jared, LOL.

Huh, I've been getting serious Dean = Mary vibes, actually. In fact, I'm pretty sure Samuel said directly in the premiere that he reminds him of Mary, and then there's Dean wanting to keep Ben out of the life. Sure, he started moving them around like John did, but when Sam called him out on it in this ep Dean immediately took action. He was very conflicted about not wanting to be like John, which is I think that the whole point was, there.
