It's probably not that normal to feel SO crappy at right about 32 weeks, is it ( Read more... )

I've never been pregnant and I know it's different for everyone, but if you really feel something isn't right, it doesn't hurt to see a doctor again. You know your own body and if something feels off, it's always good to at least get it checked out to be safe. <3

I have an appointment Friday but I am definitely going with my gut ... if something tells me to call earlier, I absolutely will. Just playing it moment by moment, for sure :)

Yeah, you shouldn't feel that way, especially since you were so active just what, two weeks ago? BP runs low in pregnancy and what sounds normal now could be it creeping upward. When was your GD screen? My GD crept up at about 35 weeks (monitored at home since i'm at risk) and I felt like ass and Ray got big fast

My GD screen showed me as being a reactive hypoglycemic, which I already knew - my blood sugar was a 50. I'm probably going to borrow a BP cuff and keep tabs on it (it was 110 over 60 or 70 or something last night) and see what happens. I feel like my BP is normally lower than that but I've never kept a record so I don't really know!

That should offer you some peace of mind :) And if it'll help, insist on that 24hour urine to rule out anything fishy. Its very possible you've just been overdoing it. I gained 15 pounds from my appointment on December 21 to my appointment December 27 and was dragging so badly (this was 36-7ish weeks for me). The weight came off by New Year's day but I had to remember I'd been doing a LOT (i used public transportation and therefore walked 8+ miles a day till December 18th or so), eating not-so-great, and just ugh. The sleep never improved, unfortunately, but I did feel better after actually resting.

I +1 the previous comment. I wish I could offer you some "been there, done that" advice, but I've never been pregnant before.

My thinking would be to see your care provider if you feel that something isn't right. Also, you're making a baby. It's your first time making a human being and your body is probably way out of whack right now. Be gentle with yourself and trust your intuition/instincts. *HUGS*

You're right, my body could just be all WTF haha. But I'll be giving them a call for sure if something really, really drives me too. In the meantime I'm thinking doing at least one small project a day might really help me ... resting too much always makes me feel like crap. I have to get up, move a bit and get some air so I'll probably take Stella to the dog park tomorrow or something. :)

Baby girl...I'm so sorry for you...but it is ABSOLUTELY NORMAL, at least in my book, to feel this crappy at 32 weeks. I was miserable for so very long. Sleeping, especially. Sleeping was THE WORST. But nothing about pregnancy is comfortable. Don't feel abnormal. :(

Agh, yeah ... see I just go back and forth like, is this normal, is this not? Like I've said to the others, if something in my gut really drives me to call for an earlier appointment I will but otherwise I have one Friday and that should be alright. :) Sleeping is absolute BALLS though. Rawrrr.

the number 1 sign of preeclampsia is spilling protein into your urine. every time you go to the doctors and they make you pee into a cup, that's one of the things they check. if they have not said anything, you are doing fine.

losing energy at 30-34 weeks is REALLY common. it will probably get worse as you get bigger. watch for a sudden burst near the end for nesting instincts, sorting baby clothes, cleaning all the things ... that's how you know you are almost done :-)

I did have protein in my urine last visit. :( But maybe it just wasn't enough to really bug him?

Waiting for that sudden burst again, haha. I don't have anything terribly hard left to besides paint her dresser and then just a couple of crafts and sewing projects and that's it!
