11 - She'll just launch this craft on the tide of complaint

[Filtered to Rassilon, Rinzler, Rhade, Seven, Martha, and Dracula]

Though some of you already know: I can now say, conclusively, that Sherlock Holmes, my warden, has left the barge.

[She looks very chilly as she says this, haughty and unaffected.
Please ignore the tension in her neck. She's being emotionless.]

My apologies.

My first warden vanished without provocation as well, and I was quite fond of him.

He was. For an Earther and a detective beside.

Quite tolerable to interact with. And. In his way.

Kind.

[Lip is not trembling. Lip is NOT trembling. Your eyes deceive you.]

Kindness isn't always what popular tripe makes it out to be. Sometimes it's no more than consideration.

[That's a trembly lip. He sees that trembly lip.]

You are allowed to miss him and continue valuing him.

The... emotional perturbation is very ... immediate. However.

[It hurts so badly now. And she's not sure how to cope.]

I am s

If you desire a meeting I am available.

[He will be there for you to get that lipwobble out of your system on.

...there's a location listed at the bottom of the comment, too. Come hang with him in the CES after you have read ALL THE GAME THEORY with Rhade, Vas.]

We can discuss interpersonal relationships and other theoretical abstracts.

I did not really know him, but these things can be... annoying. [He was a bit more than "annoyed" when Rose left, though :|]

Yes. It's really quite tedious. [Her eyes are glassy, but she hasn't actually started crying yet, and will be off camera very fast if she does.]

[Rassilon notices but decides not to comment on it.] My warden disappeared, too. It was quite the hassle.

[It's well in check for now.] Yes. I doubt I'll be paired with someone else so tolerable.

I'm so sorry, Vasilia.

[Vasilia has had a cry and stolen some affection and in the end has a measure of emotional and personal ... clarity. She is a genius of patterns and notices the change in medium.]

It is painful. I will continue.

Are you well?

[At times she is painfully aware of how much she takes from Martha. If there is something wrong-- she will not take more.]

Yes.

[A beat.]

No.

Madam Doctor, from our first acquaintance you have supported me when I was in pain.

Is there anything I can do?

Ah, that is a loss for the Barge. And in general. Are you weathering it all right?

Yes; I don't see why I should get over-exercised.

[It's obviously a lie, blatantly enough that the lie itself is a plea for help. Spacers are not the most emotionally matured of peoples.]

He was a brilliant man and actually had a chance of understanding you. He could have done with some manners, but eccentricity often goes hand in hand with genius. In your place I would regret his going. You have more poise than I, however.

He was all of these things. He helped me in ways I had not foreseen. I regret it, of course, but see no point in letting it effect me emotionally.

[Which is why her eyes are red and shiny. Naturally.]
