[ She's sitting at the piano in the glee club practice room. It's about an hour after school now, but she does this sometimes, for any number of reasons.

Her look is one of intense concentration, as she plays a fast song, fingers flying over the keys. Obviously this means she's just begging to be interrupted. ♥ ]

[Jams past the choir room on a determined mission to get home and turn on the XBox, but is easily distracted by an out-of-place noise. Naturally, she can't resist a ~mysterious piano solo~ and secretly hopes it'll be a ghost.]

Ah-- [ The unexpected voice makes the notes falter, and she stops, fingers hovering for a second before she places them in her lap and turns to face the intruder.

And her expression softens and lifts all at once. ]

I stay after to practice too. Not, like, Glee stuff. Soccer. We have soccer practice on Tuesday. \
[The accompanying hand gestures are mildly frantic, as though they keep the words spilling from her mouth a little more anchored to reality]
Sorry, I didn't mean to make you stop.

((ooc: WHY DOES SHE MAKE KURT FACES? D: D: ))

[ Dear god, her flailing only endears Kat more. ] Good luck. And don't worry--I always have trouble with that section.

[ Half-turns back to the keyboard, glances to Fiona, then turns fully and slides over a bit, silently offering the other half of the bench to her. ] Do you know how to play? It's actually very relaxing when you get into it.

[ Well...some people have natural grace and others don't 8D; But it's one of the things that Kat finds so endearing about Fiona. ]

Mn, that's no problem. You haven't seen my baby yet, have you? You're in for a treat. [ Casual, casual, casual. As though she isn't about to burst from sheer gleeful anxiety on the spot. ] It isn't really that far, besides. Shall we? [ Heads for the door, glancing over her shoulder. ]
