In a nutshell you just captured something that burns in me - so many of the problems and baggage I've encountered with students and adults are the result of a man who was a man in name only, a "man" who merely hurt and destroyed, selfishly, rather than doing what a man is supposed to do: build up, protect, defend, and love selflessly.

i go to your church.. and i'm pretty sure i go to your school. [that sounds kinda stalker-ish.. doesn't it] and i was at the girls retreat.. it was my birthday if it helps clarify.

well, seeing as i check livejournal about once a week, i relegate myself to what looks like im echoing everyone else's thoughts, but when i say that you're an amazing writer summer, it's truly sincere. i love reading what you put in your journal, and it never ceases to inspire and encourage me. thanks for being such a neat girl! and i loved pride and prejudice! and i hope that i can be one of those guys you dream of, not for you, but for the girl God has set apart for me. (not that i believe in a soul mate. just when the time comes. :] )
