I read back over everything from yesterday. I can't believe I said so much!! Once I got started, I was even able to speak my mind in text messages, but it's all because everyone made me feel at ease.

Thanks, guys! (‐^▽^‐)

I'm glad you're having a good time, Ren. And that everyone's treating you well.

Sorry it wasn't like that at Mihoshi.

What happened at Mihoshi wasn't Kanou-kun's fault. I kept everyone from playing a kind of baseball that they could enjoy. But, I'm different now! The team here is really warm, and they welcomed me even though I told them about what I'd done.

I miss you, but I'm glad that I left. Now you're my rival, as well as my friend. I'm glad we can play together.

I wish the guys had listened to me sooner. I'm glad you left too if you're happy at Nishiura.

And it's not so different, being rivals instead of on the same team. I've always measured myself against you. I'm glad we can play together too.

And I think I saw in one comment you made that you're sharing the mound with other pitchers on your team? That's amazing. You really are comfortable there, aren't you?

Oh, it's not that I wasn't comfortable with you! It was that, if I gave up the mound even once at Mihoshi I knew the rest of the team would never let me have it back.

Though two of the players here, Hanai-kun and Oki-kun, have pitched before, neither of them are pitchers.

I know; I was the only one you were comfortable with. That was the problem, and I don't blame you for not getting off the mound. I admire you for it, actually.

Ah, so you're still the only actual pitcher on the team? That's got to feel pretty good. Are you teaching them all you know?

Of course I'm not teaching them everything! If I taught them what I knew, then they could replace me, because they both have better attitudes than I do. I am working with them on stamina and focus, though, because I have a lot of experience in mentally challenging games. It might be selfish not to share all of the pitches I know with them, but I'm learning how to be a better pitcher alongside them, instead.
