LJ's sales page says that "During 2009 LiveJournal is relaunching its brand and service."

OMG that page is creepy. It's nothing totally new, of course, but creepy. as. f*ck. How on earth do the know the income distribution of LJ users? *shudders*

I wager those numbers are from some ad or traffic analysis partner; I don't know how accurate they are or if they're just bullshit wild guesstimates; my guess is a lot of the latter. Lots of numbers the sales people toss around are bullshit, like how they always tout how 18 million accounts have been created, when only around 2 million have been actually used in the past month, or calling unique visitors "users" in the ad partnership articles.
