A peaceful week

Peace and quiet all week except for being chased around the house for minor interrogations when they heard me coming or going a few times since Tuesday, but I was able to to avoid them almost altogether. Went to see the psychiatrist again yesterday and had a nice chat. It felt good to talk about it out loud some more. Got home around 6 PM last ( Read more... )

How do you deal every single day of your life with this? I suppose it becomes routine for you since you are used to it. It would drive me crazy. My parents have issues but not quite to that extent, though I agree with you about them doing/saying things all for appearances sake.

Journaling the what, why, how, when and where to be sure that there are words for all of to keep it in perspective. Lots of exercise to make sure that there's no pent up physical aggression, keeps the mood stable. Gotta remember to breathe too, and to stay separated from them emotionally. Every hour of every day is a crisis situation for them, but not for me. I feel great regardless of what they do or say, and sometimes it's just hilarious. :)
