If the idea of retribution for guilty actions is a world like this, I feel much calmed at the idea of karma.

Well, maybe retribution isn't the right word. What I mean is... maybe it's somewhere that we're sent in order to come to terms with that guilt.

It seems to be desiged pretty well for it, really. I mean, it's done it to at least one person I met already.

The effects in movies these days are phenomenal -- especially compared to 70's technology.

Really? That good? I mean, the effects in 2001: A Space Oddysey were phenomenal. I didn't think they could top them.

No one thought they could be better than Star Wars, either, they've only improved since then. Effects that were used in 70's films even get used on normal television shows, sometimes.

Special Effects have gotten so awesome! I mean, most of the stuff's done on computers so you can get some really neat effects. Not to mention I keep hearing rumors about them making full 3D films.

Like 3-dimensional, and not just the lousy kind, but a full feature length one. Back home, there was one that was coming out next year...or this year?
