I thought, personally, it might be wise to get a bit more personal: an initiative saying that Ken Starr's marriage is not recognized in California. Not only does that bring home the point of the majority vs. the minority, but it also retroactively dissolves a marriage. Plus, enough liberals dislike Starr that it might actually pass.

Agreed--or that only marriages between right-handed people will be recognized. I mean, left-handed people can learn to write right-handed rather than giving into their sinister natures, can't they?

Added bonus: left-handed people were, for a long time, decried as evil and/or forced to write right-handed. I'm digging the analogy.
