My brother once mocked me for complicated my life by carrying around a whole swathe of dedicated devices. At the time I think I had a laptop, an ipod, a camera and my particularly low-tech phone. I like the idea of smart phones, but to be honest i don't need one. Most of the time I travel from my home to my work; I can stand to be without internet access for 2 hours a day.

On cameras... The lens, the size of the pixels (bigger pixels mean better quality/pixel), bit depth, the engine... there are a number of reasons why people who want better cameras don't use a camera phone.

That said I have seen a professional system in the $50,000 range with a iphone mounted on top for a live view >_>
