I am thankful to my jury. I am even more thankful that I don't know their names or recall their faces. Even in cases like mine, where I'm sure something similar to the first was done I am thankful that the truth won.

I suppose it's like when you challenge someone to a duel and they get to pick the weapon. That said, in at least one of the cases I heard the prosecution had the option to do the same (or stand aside) jurors but chose not to.

Wow. Stacking the jury with young males is seriously screwed up.

Although if they were all waiting to join the priesthood...?

Sorry, poor taste.

One judge mentioned that the prosecution could do the same thing, I do not recall the other doing the same. In both cases they did not use their ability to stand aside any witnesses. In civil cases 12 potentials are called out and a list of the names is handed from one group to the other each with the ability to cross off three names.

This feels like explaining the rules of a game.
