Tim spends the afternoon working out in the gym at his place. Going through his routine, one he'd been doing everyday for years helps him regain some of the balance he'd lost due to last night's... activities. He needed to be able to focus, focus was what was going to keep him alive out there

Of course the fact that he'd seemed distracted and awkward in class today because omg she was too there had nothing to do with why she'd come.
Cloak wrapped around her, Lee half-floated, half-stood on the outside ledge of his bedroom window. If any of the people she'd known before saw her, they'd have thought, 'huh, girl!Bat, red cape', from the way she waited.
Only a Bat would be waiting expecting to see something. She just waited for him to get dressed from his shower. And not because she cared. When he'd been lying down a few minutes, she tapped on the window.

He gets out of bed, not bothering to put on a t-shirt (she's a cape, or was a cape, she knows how it is) and heads over to the window. It swings in to open and when he lets the latch go he only pulls it in halfway, one arm leaning on the half open window. His posture is relaxed and there's something like a smirk on his face.
"Do you always spy on young boys before they go to sleep?" he asks, "Or am I just special?"

"Please keep in mind that my boss likes to dress young boys up in special clothes and take them out all night long," he tells her and he's definitely smirking now, "My perspective on what's normal behavior towards a person my age is somewhat skewed."
"Feel free to sit down wherever, there's a living room outside that door also," he adds, pointing, "Is this a social call? Or should I be slipping into something far less comfortable?"

Lee makes it sound almost logical, like a natural extension of being a cape... when you aren't as completely repressed as the Bats. But something in the way she's speaking, makes it sound like she's possibly speaking about something besides abstracts.
"You okay?" he asks, unsure how to broach the topic properly, "You sound... like you've had some recent expereince with this."

She shook her head, hair falling into her face. Like maybe she was embarrassed. But she didn't get embarrassed. About sex or anything.
"I always have recent experience with sex." Her voice came out harsh, far harsher than she'd ever want to be with Tim. So she tried again.
"There are people in the city I see. A few. Mostly it's like I said. We bleed together. It's not sweet or innocent or beautiful." Well, that last might not be true. She and Loz were probably very beautiful, like screaming eagles diving after prey were beautiful. And she and Doyle with the colors and lights, and his obsidian skin and her pale cream... 'kay, definitely not true. "It might be beautiful to watch, but it doesn't feel beautiful."
This? Not getting them anywhere. "What I mean is there are men I fuck. Then there's this other guy," not C. He's not a ( ... )

"So... the guys you have sex with, that's all cool, but this guy... he had sex with you and it wasn't? He... made you uncomfortable? Made you..." he's not about to think that Lee was violated, he isn't, cause Lee wouldn't stand for that crap. No way, "So... do you want me to beat him up for you? Seeing as I can do it without killing him?"

"Nice offer, little bird. Unnecessary. But I'll keep it in mind." Her lips curved into a wicked smirk at the thought of Tim taking on Ranger. No contest there. Ranger might be dangerous, but Tim? Was a Bat. "It's just he wanted something from me that I can't give. He wanted..."
What had he wanted, really? Ah. "He wanted what you and I have." Openness. Without the understanding, trust, and relationship that made it possible, even Inevitable, with Tim.
