"Starbuck." Lee's voice barely hid a yawn: he'd gotten as little sleep as she had, listening to her plans for the Academy's graduation fly-over and how to train five of her best students for it.

"What?" She looked up at him, tapping her pencil against the table impatiently.

"Are you sure they're even up to it?"

Kara set the pencil down. "You got any better ideas, Lee?"

Even as he said it, he kicked himself. "I think we should do it."

The answering sparkle in her eyes was enough to make him stop - both kicking himself, and, for the briefest of moments, breathing.

"Best idea you've had all day, Apollo."
