Isn't it possible that the people picked for this list served someone's purpose of fueling the fire between democrats and republicans? ... Just a thought.

Of course it's quite possible. All the names on the list are of prominent politicians, so it's interesting anyway.

I don't know. I think he was disqualified medically. I will ask around -- maybe my OIC knows.
