This may seem sort of a strange question suddenly, but please tell me about your families.
[Ami's having one of those days where the distance between herself and her family and friends seems too vast and too real. Later, to focus her mind, she'll train in the battle dome, partners and visitors welcome.]
[Action/Mercury]
[Sailor Mercury faces down three youma at once. They gibber at her as they twirl and spin around in confusing patterns of movement designed to distract their foe. She shakes her head to clear it as she realizes she's having trouble keeping up.
A spray of ice shoots towards Mercury from one of them; she sidesteps it nimbly and it flies past her, harmless.]
Did you think that would work on me?
[She wags a finger. Then it's her turn. The other two are trickier, with all manner of ways to trip her up or bind her. She holds her ground firmly before performing an impressive aerial somersault, which lets the ice from the first youma freeze its own comrades. Mercury gives a quiet smile, pleased with herself.]
Mercury Aqua Blizzard!
[Her own snow and ice is special, and does the trick. The snow and hail fly at them and the youma are left encased in ice. They shatter when it does. The simulation ends with the senshi victorious. She pauses before deciding whether to run another.]
