Last night I watched what i guess was this season's premier of Coast Guard Alaska. It's a Weather Channel production (right?) that basically follows rescue divers/Coast Guard operations based out of Kodiak Island in Alaska

Terrifying stuff.

I read once about the search & rescue guys that were involved in the rescue attempts in the incident that the movie "Perfect Storm" was based on; frightening.
