hives

I woke up at about 3 am Monday morning quite itchy. I had hives - one on my hand, one on my chest, one on my arm. Frantic, I took a cold shower to stop their growth, then freaked out at my parents in the hotel room next door and slathered this prescription cortisone cream my dad has all over them, then went back to sleep. I woke up with about 10

initial thought was bedbugs, but we're pretty sure its not them for a bunch of reasons, mainly:

-i've had hives before
-they kept popping up during the day yesterday
-none of them have puncture wounds/bite marks, the skin is mad as HELL but intact
-i am literally covered in them
-i am sharing a room with my brother, who is sleeping in a bed 3 inches away. there isnt a mark on him
-we tore the room apart looking for signs of an infestation and found basically nothing

blargh. i want nothing more than to go home, take a cold milk bath, and take a shitload of zyrtec and valium

Maybe its just a sensitivity to the bed linens. The detergents or the water quality.
