...that my body was in the process of falling apart completely- yesterday evening my right knee and heel wanted to play in the orchestra of pain, too- the medication did kick in. Which leaves me with sore elbows- still no fun, but I have to be okay with the fact that not everything can be repaired in one go. So I did two more batches of cookies-

I'm glad to hear that the medication has helped - you'll need all your strength in the upcoming days/weeks. Me, I'm glad to have brought all pre-Christmas duties behind me, although I'm sure Mum will come up with brilliant ideas how the flat should be scrubbed clean for Christmas. *sigh*

My mum always came up with additional cleaning before Christmas. That's a rural custom here, hence the Perchts among other strange things...
