Shopping with gnomes

Today started fairly uneventful: breakfast, housework, crossword puzzles were on my agenda. But then hubby decided to pick the boys up early, so that the menue plan for lunch had to be changed. Hubby got the easy part after lunch- he went napping with Flavius. I went upstairs with Cassian, who does not nap anymore. We watched some video clips then

I don´t do well with chocolate and the like. But the punch will punch if not diluted as recommended...

Hubby almost went insane- he seldomly went shopping with our offspring and almost never had to cope with such an ordeal. I swear that I had to hide to have a good laugh more than once.

I think I might have got the giggles, too.

I thought you might like another peanut butter cookie recipe. This is the one I always use;

1 340gm jar of peanut butter (crunchy or smooth - whichever you prefer.)
same jar filled with sugar
1 large egg.

Stir it all together, then put spoonfuls on your baking tray and squash them a bit with a fork.

Bake at around 170C in a fan oven.

That really does work, and they are really nice.

Thank you for the recipe! There´s still peanut butter aplenty left for baking. Though it´s a special brand- it´s pumpkin spice flavoured, so no one wants it in a sandwich!
