I admit that I have been lazying about this morning. Did all my bank chores (finally!) when still in bed, baked coconut macaroons and almost despaired- I had bought a new brand of coconut flakes which needed twice as much whipped egg whites than the one I had used before, and I had to separate two more eggs, the yolk wandering into the spaghetti

Oh! It seems I've missed this entry of yours. My apologies. It feels as if I hadn't answered the phone when you called. *g* These daily interactions mean a lot to me - they are one of the few pleasant constants in my life.

Anyway, I don't envy you for the meeting with abovementioned friend. You'll need strong coffee or whatnot to stay awake!
