At our age we are entitled to grow soft. I certainly don't miss the -40°C winters of my childhood spent in Transylvania in a block house that wasn't insulated at all. Or the "funny" events when Mum went out for water and got frozen solid to the draw well. I very much enjoy my decadent life with central heating, an insulated building and all that. I hope you got yourself a nice, soft, warm shawl. Good luck surviving the man flu - two guys down with it must be a real pain... for YOU!
