Quick and dirty. Excuse lameness.

Luke huffs and rolls onto his back, kicking the blankets away. He was cold earlier, but now he's hot, and he can't seem to get comfortable no matter which position he lies in. He's been tossing and turning for hours, unable to fall asleep.

Luke broke up with Noah just a few days earlier, and he should be thinking about that. He should be thinking about ways to support Noah - without being too clingy - and about how to get back together with him after Dr. Oliver gives Noah his sight back.

Dr. Oliver. Luke sighs. While he should be thinking about Noah, it's Dr. Oliver he's actually thinking about. About the way he'd pushed back when Luke tried to steer him outside the other day. About Dr. Oliver's throat swallowing hard, and the way they'd both been breathing heavily, Dr. Oliver's tight grip on his arms. About Dr. Oliver's blue, blue eyes and the way they'd flashed with anger and something else, something Luke refuses to put a name to. Lust. Luke squeezes his eyes closed and tries to force the image ( ... )

Excellent! Loved the smut, Reid being unable to stop longing for Luke, the mention of the Reid and Katie friendship.

But for some reason my favorite part was this line: Say what you want about Oakdale, at least the water pressure is excellent. It was amusing to think about Reid finding this as one of the few things bearable about Oakdale.
