i don't really understand this, meaning, i'm not sure if you wrote the little blurbs underneath the interests or not, but anyway, i just wanted to say that i'm plodding my way through faust and it is really good. goethe was crazy, in a mind-blowing way. for instance, there's one scene where mephistopheles pulls a coat that is covered with moths and bugs and things, and he's talking about wearing the coat and yadda yadda, and then the moths and bugs start rejoicing and praising him...oh, my favorite part was where these poets come onstage, and one of them starts talking, and before the other two even have any lines they learn about the existence of a vampire and decide that is much more important than the festival thing they are at, so they leave. it's pretty hilarious.

yeah, and as i've said before, Goethe was one of the first authors to start a huge fad. or rather, Werther was one of the first characters to become a huge fad. across europe people dressed like him and even committed suicide like him, i guess because he was just that cool.

i responded to this yesterday and now i see that it didn't show up. hmm.
i said that i will read Faust when i can, and that i just finished Fitzgerald's This Side of Paradise, which i highly recommend.
