"With love comes responsibility."
I don't think I even need to say anything else about this clip -- the quote stands on its own. With love comes responsibility? What the hell ever happened to loving someone, flaws and all ( Read more... )

The main problem I have with the whole Damian thing is that when Luke finally started getting close to Damian, Noah didn't like him anymore, LOL! Poor Luke, the boy can't win no matter what he does.

I really think Noah is determined to ALWAYS tell Luke he's wrong, no matter what Luke does. Damian had done so many things to hurt Luke in the past, Luke had plenty of reasons not to trust him. Even though I do believe Damian had changed (as far as his relationship with Luke was concerned, if not in general) and really did love Luke and want what was best for him, I would have totally understood if Luke had decided not to give him another chance. Noah just can't help doing everything he can to make sure Luke knows that any decision he makes is always the wrong one.

I think these moments have shown that Noah himself doesn't know what Noah wants, so how could anyone else know?

Seriously, Noah? You feel like you have the right to tell Luke how he should feel about Damian, and then keep repeating it over and over, like Luke is demented or something? When you don't even know the man, who says you have the right to tell Luke what to do or how to feel? Oh, wait that's right. It's Noah and he gets a free pass. But not from ME. *insert buzzer signifying wrong answer here*

Oh, wait that's right. It's Noah and he gets a free pass.

Oh, that's beyond obvious -- if Noah does something that hurts Luke, Luke is just supposed to forget about it and forgive him in an instant, but if Luke does something that Noah is less than 100% thrilled with, Luke is supposed to grovel and beg for Noah's forgiveness and then kiss his feet in gratitude when Noah finally decides to give it to him.

Such a fucking DOUCHE!

Having finally gotten caught up with all of the posts here at noah_who, I've realized that if I were to try and express how I feel it would just be a long strand of obscenities. Therefore, I will let the fabulous Madeline Kahn do it for me...

I would also like to give a big thank you to all of the mods who've put together such an amazing community. You guys are awesome!

Noah is constantly doing that, as if Luke just isn't allowed to take initiative or do anything without consulting Noah first and getting his approval

This is one of the reasons I totally think they had an emotionally abusive relationship, and why I wouldn't have been surprised if it had eventually transitioned into physical abuse if they had stayed together. Noah really did seem to think he could do whatever he wanted and Luke was just supposed to accept it, and put his life on hold waiting for Noah if necessary, but that Luke needed to ask Noah's permission before doing ANYTHING. I'm not writing off all possibility of Noah ever having a healthy relationship with someone else, but there being with Noah could have ever been healthy for Luke.
