Music simply sucks.

Here is the list of VERY OK bands: The Faint, Cursive, Blood Brothers, Against Me! Motion City Soundtrack, and Postal Service.

Very Ok bands = really bad.

Sam..they are bad because they are over-hyped. and really very ok.

Nolan - I use to think Cursive was good at one point. but god damn, they aren't that good.

Postal Service, why is this pile of rubbish good to people?

Cursive was just outplayed, and got really really annoying. I tried really hard not to get sick of them...but I certainly did.

Postal Service = Ben Gibbard... I never liked that guy.

So you dont like them because everyone else does? and you dont think they are as good as people say? Personally I dont think the faint, cursive, and the blood brothers are really bad. Ill be the first to admit that their new material isnt good, but albums like Domestica, Danse Macabre, and March on Electric Children! are some of the better albums released in the last decade. Guess its just a differnce of opinion.

I'd like to say both the Blood Brothers and Against Me! are two extraordinarily original bands and I think both are definitly acquired tastes. Seriouisly, just give Reinventing Axl Rose by Against Me! and Burn Piano Island, Burn by the Blood Brothers a good few listens through. They also bring the most energy to shows of any band I've ever expierienced.

And to everyone who discounts a band just because you haven't heard them you suck ass. Don't hate unless you have a reason to.
