I know you have plenty of movie folks, but since you asked I say wait to rent, "The Crazies".

There is some interesting stuff going on there, but a zombie movie with pacing problems... in this day and age... unacceptable. Everybody I was with agreed that it moved quite slowly, which is just odd for a zombie/outbreak film.

If you're talking about the original, yeah it's slow as hell.

Honestly, the people I've talked to here have said the new one is terrific. I'm going to go out of my way to see it, actually. Gotta see for myself. You're only the 2nd review I've heard that said the new one was slow.
