Pokemon battles aren't that violent, usually. A battle between trainers is completely different from Pokemon battles in the wild!

The worst that could happen is a Pokemon faints. And when they do, they're recalled and taken out of the battle to be healed as soon as possible!

They don't get hurt too badly, trust me! ^^ My Pokemon love to battle too.

Um, well I don't know what a Pokemon is at all, so I don't think I do, really.

Oh, so it's just like a game? Or, a competition? It doesn't sound any more dangerous than most sporting events, in that case. ...And that's certainly a lot better than what I thought! I was under the impression that the two of you were just going to wage war out there in the park.
