After spending a respectful amount of time at Thelma's memorial service, Vlad and Lucy returned to the apartment

After making his appearance at the memorial service which the mun will do after work Walter had gone back to the dorm for the treat he'd prepared for Vlad. A quick jog through impending weather and Walter presented himself to knock at Vlad's door with a bag under his arm and (compared to most of the rest of the village) an incongruous smile on his face.

Vlad, who recognized that heartbeat but had not been expecting Walter to come see him tonight, was surprised enough to actually get up and open the door himself.

"Walter..?"

"I thought we could discuss next week's lesson, since we didn't have class this week," Walter said, tilting his head up at Vlad. "Unless you're occupied?"

Vlad laughed and stepped back, holding the door open for Walter.

"You're in luck. I'm at loose ends, tonight. We might even find time for a vocabulary lesson."
