i must've said it lots. but i love your drawings.. you have such a distinct style. you need to see godard's masculine et feminine - its one of the best movies i've ever seen!! i've never seen woman is a woman - but i really love breathless too.
theres this book i took out once from the 'berry that i judged by its cover called "the four sonyas" , it was a pretty cover.. i read a lot of it.. never finished it, but it seemed like something i should just buy.. so what i am getting at is that it was czech new wave so czech it out.
mmmm, umbrellas of cherbourg...i remember the first time i saw that i didn't know it was a musical and i brought it over to this guy i was datings place. it was kinda funny, we were both surprised by all the singing, then i got a little uncomfortatble, hehe...
have you seen my life to live yet? thats my fav godard film. beautiful thoughts and messages and anna karina with short hair! can't get better than that, hehe.
yeah my life to live was great- i think one of his most character-driven movies!nana is one of godard's most affecting characters, it has the most bizarre, yet tragic feeling to it.
I must disagree. David's are highly overrated--I find them to be somewhat oily and that they actually enforce a charge to toast the bagels? Try Essa-Bagel on 20th(?) and first... they're constantly rated best bagel in NYC. And I definitely believe it.
