two flash projects done. one is a portfolio all in flash. it's fairly simple looking but you'd never guess how fucking long it took me even without crazy action scripting. i must be the slowest flash makin lady on the planet

the reason it's an issue was because i talked to some working illustrators about current prices and rates. if the graphic is for a big company you'd get 1800 per image and if it's for a small company you'd get about 800 per image... i've been thinking about money a lot lately since i'm in the hole having spent a lot of money for the heaven and hell book / going to japan soon. i'm trying to be self sufficent these days and stop mooching off my family, but that's impossible if i keep taking jobs that take a ton of time but pay me little.

i'm still going to do it, but only because the company is run by some kids who aren't trying to screw me over-- but i think it's bad to take jobs where the people can easily pay more but they're trying to cheat you thinking they can easily since you're young or inexperienced, you know?

i do remember that night. the guy without a leg or some shit who spent all his b-day trying to buy crack ? i forget. it was wack. and mcdonnalds certainly was scary. actually, everything around the smell was.

how do you know brett? i don't remember anyone from that whole thing except brett and meeting some boy mehran, who did "light up the sky" this website i used to look at sometimes... but no ladies. maybe i would recognize you if i saw you again but my brain is mush. do you actually remember me? i may have looked lame. so hopefully you do not.
