Yep. I passed my birthday waiting around in Best Buy for them to finish installing my new car stereo. Apparently in order to get the rear speakers out you have to remove the back seat. Both the top and back cushions, and then the whole panel assembly in the back comes off, not just the plastic parts I'd assumed provided easy access to the speakers.
