been up half the night..... dad got taken to hospital with what may (or may not) prove to be a heart attack. we're waiting for pathology and whatnot to confirm.
in all reality though, he is in the high risk category, what with having been a smoker for thirty+ years, and having his father with heart conditions that required a triple bypass. -

trip to sydney was a success.... despite the tiring drive (in either direction). the concert was good, the company great. and of course there was the obligatory trip into chinatown, where i spent a good long while (and a lot of money) in morning glory. yesterday morning there was much excitement outside one of the entrances to the hotel, which we ( Read more... ) -

pretty tired from work still... looking for a new job again/still etc. to be honest that is the main reason that i'm looking forward to my six day easter weekend so much. not for the excitement of going to see sinead o'connor in sydney, the factory outlets and all that.... just want it to sleep and get that place purged from me before i have to go ( Read more... ) -

so h***** left work (under some dubious circumstances) at the start of the year. no one was trained before she left (bit hard to get training when the person who is supposed to impart their knowledge is on leave), so this last five weeks has been a bit of a nightmare. thankfully it impacts a lot more on the trainee than me, but even so you notice ( Read more... ) -
