Split Personalities
After spending a good portion of last night updating my Facebook page and all the annoying requests to have waterfights/be a vampire/do likeness quizzes, I get home to an email from someone on MySpace.
I have so many different "pages" each with a slightly different version of me that I no longer know which me is real any more. Am I the only one who does this? I mean there aren't massive differences in my info. I'm not making up stuff but each is tailored to suit the crowd... the MySpace me is very much into music, the Facebook me is a networking junkie, the LJ me... well I don't say too much here but it is more my inner thoughts and stuff.
Then I have log ons at various message boards that are all slightly different.
ARRRGGGHHH!!! Should I just consolidate?
Could I share the Duran fan me at one page, with the me who emails old school buddies? I know that most of them have moved on to the more serious aspect of life and would poo poo my fandom.
Do I really want to? More importantly is it lying to have so many different me's?
