So I got a much faster Motherboard and RAM and 2 X 4850's to replace the HUGE HOT 9800 GX2. I wanted to make the system run quiter so I switched the Power supply with my main comps power supply ( Read more... )

As an old OLD computer geek who was told to NEVER EVER overclock, and who was told to ALWAYS BACK UP before doing ANYTHING, my pity for you is limited.

I always have everything backed up.... I'm not stupid.... nothing is EVER on my main. its always on slaves. So if the power supple blowing blew my slave drives i would be irradiated, but ok since i got shit backed up.

my main drive getting fried is just irradiating cause i got to format and install EVERYTHING again.

Same thing just happend to one of my friends this weekend he got a new power supply and it fried 3 of his hard drives thankfully two of them are still working
