I'm sorry, but all of this blatant Caveman propoganda has gotten me a little riled up. I for one can't believe this blatant disregard for Astronautical intelligence. You have to look at this situation given the proposed variables, and analyze each respectibly. For a fictional meeting of this caliber we have to assume either combatant could potentially be armed with any number of things. But what does this limit the caveman to? Some logs? Rocks? Perhaps a spear if our paleolithic friend were truly evolved ( ... )

Spencer, WTF. I dont know how the hell you came up with this rediculous question, prolly some weird 'man' conversation you and Max had about the properties of 'ancient manliness' and 'modern manliness'. Am I close? Who knows, but dood, Cavemen did NOT live at the same time as Dinosaurs. But Ill give you the benefit of the doubt and for my mental stabilities sake Ill just pretned you knew that. Obviously they lived at very different time periods but thats okay since Im sure they still had to struggle against some pretty beastly animals and giant insects and what not.

It would really depend on where this battle would take place. If it were in space, well obviously the astronauts would win due to equipment and knowledge. However, if it were in the prehistotic battlefield the cavemen would definitely kick the astronauts asses. The only thing that astronauts have going for them is knowledge, and the cavemen have brute strength and an instinct that modern astronauts have lost.

So in all battlefields except space I'd say Cavemen.
