Why Not?

If you had me alone, locked up in your house for twenty-four hours and I had to do whatever you wanted me to, what would you have me do?

Speak with me. I can get very lonely at times.

It would be my great honour and pleasure, Your Majesty. I think that you and I have much in common.

*soft smile* I believe that in our own times, we were drawn to powerful and charismatic men, and unfairly branded as notorious women. But I have great respect for you, and I am so pleased that you and the King are on the throne, for all of our people.

I think we do as well, Lady Augusta.

You're very perceptive. Perhaps there is simply something about that sort of figure that draws otherwise cultured women like ourselves into their thrall.

I am glad, though, that I might be able to call you friend.

Indeed, Queen Anne. I believe it is our desire to be the one person that they can depend on, in a world filled with hangers on and users.

As am I, Your Majesty. I shall always endeavor to earn that honoured title.

I rarely jest about appreciating an attractive woman.

*soft smile* But surely you are flattering me, Sire, for you know that it would be quite inappropriate for me, as your Ambassador, to engage in any kind of infidelity with you.

*blushing* Besides, Your Grace, I count the Queen as my dear and most beloved friend, and I would never be disloyal or unkind to such a regal lady. I must confess that your compliment is one I shall always hold in the most discreet manner, King Henry, close to my heart, for I truly respect and honor you with loyalty and true service.

OOC: Heh, she isn't his diplomat for nothing. LOL!
