iConvert

Early this morning, I ordered a 14" iBook from Amazon. This is my first Apple computer. Yes. After a life of PCs, I done drank of the Kool-Aid and converted to the Cult of the Mac. I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO WORK THIS THING ONCE IT GETS HERE. But oh so pretty.

*pets pretty*
*criez*

Hold me.

Thank you!

Well, I don't have a desktop, so this will be my only computer. I've heard so many good things about Macs that I am uncharacteristically hopeful.

For the most part, they're pretty self-explanatory.

Though you could always email Jason and ask for help, since he's often said in interviews that he's a big ol' Mac geek.

Mmmm. Jason as MacDaddy. You're putting EVIL ideas in my head. I love evil ideas.

In one interview, Jason said that if he wasn't an actor, he'd probably be standing around on street corners trying to get people to switch from Windows to Mac. That's when I realized that he's pretty close to my ideal guy: a nice politically liberal Jewish boy who's a Mac geek--and has an ass that's just screaming, "spank me!"

So it's true... He is perfect.

Not that I ever doubted.

As long as you don't get engaged to your Mac, have its baby and then retire per the Mac's advice/command, everything should be just fine!

Thanks for the encouragement! All of my Mac-loving friends are supportive. The general consensus: It's about time.

EEEEEEEEEE. It's true you know, the world is shinier on the other side. And if you feel overwhelmed by it all, I'm probably always reachable on iChat.

What shall you name it?

OMG, I have to name it? *frets*

And I might well take you up on your offer to be my MacMommy. I hope you don't regret it...

Well, they like names. They're friendly little things, you see.

And then you can look down upon the piteous, Windows using peons out there and be smugly condescending. Which is fun, I'm told, and which you will have time for, now that you don't have to spend half your day downloading new anti-virus software and so forth.
