Overrun by wild mice. Infiltrated. INFESTED.

Cute! Malodorous! WAY TOO SMART TO VENTURE INTO THE LIVE TRAPS I'VE SET FOR THEM!!!!11!!!

They had babies in my bed while I was out of town.

Doom.

ETA: More singing kittens.

I am trying to introduce them to the joys of the outdoor life. Alas, to no avail.

I doubt my cat would be able to successfully catch a mouse, but there's always the snake. :)

But hey, are you going to Lumos? And how are you getting there?

Noooo!!! No snake!

*hidez mice*

I'm hoping to go to Lumos. I guess I'll fly, since driving through the desert in July sounds festive in theory only. And yourself?

I intend to go, but I want to see if anyone from around here is crazy enough to drive, because driving through the desert actually doesn't bother me. Extreme heat in general, I have no issue with.

Who are you rooming with?

Haven't even thought about roomies because my plans are still up in the air.

Should I take leave of my senses and decide to drive and you still don't have a flight at that time, pack a basket and we'll hit the road!

Oh dear! I know it's wrong to laugh at your predicament, but still ....

*does not offer you the use of my cat*

*wonders if a viewing of Willard might help*

From the London Review of Books:

"I tried mousetraps, superglue, poison, and chasing the mice with a sieve. Nothing worked. We could hear the mice munching through the food in the larder as we sat down for tea. Then a friend recommended a device that emits an ultrasonic whine in the room where it’s situated, and sends an electromagnetic pulse through all the electric wiring in your house. The pulse doesn’t harm the mice at all; they just hate the sound and the endless vibrations. Our mice gave up and left two days after I plugged the device in."

Might this help? Or has it been tried and sneered at by ultrasonic singing mice?

Ah, it would be perfect... if not for my pet mouse. He'd have to lisen to the ultrasonic whine, too! His little ears would burst!
