... JKR wasn't kidding when she said some fan theories and fanfiction cut really, really close to canon. I'm specifically thinking of HPFGU's Good Ship L.O.L.L.I.P.O.P.S. and various fics based on the same premise. Also, Conniving!Dumbledore and Sacrificial Lamb!Harry? PWNED.
With about 150 pages to go, I still don't know the final outcome. Can't wait, after wading through hundreds of pages of the trio blundering around in tents, interspersed with mad!improbable!escapes! I mean, c'mon... riding out of Gringott's on the back of a fucking dragon? What is this, Neverending Story meets Moonraker?
I'm not bitter that JKR killed Snape. No, I'm not. It's just that right now I want Harry to FUCKING DIE SO HE KNOWS HOW IT FEELS OMGWTF. But I'm sure Lily will save him, because that's just the way it goes.
