There'll be cocktails, I'm supposing - mingling, a DJ thingy, possibly a bit of dancing. But more than just jeans, I know...

Most certainly not jeans, you'll need a dress, but nothing too fancy. Something elegant and...hm.

Heels or flats depending on the dress.

Mm, most likely a nice dress of some sort, and heels!

Knee-length too short you think? Or do you think I could go higher?

Mm, I think knee length would be perfect. Sorta between ball gown and call girl. I think they call them cocktail dresses. I'm not the best with fashion tho unfortunately.

(Filter) - yes that is a very, very slight compliment there noblerthanall March 12 2009, 22:45:18 UTC
Shouldn't take too long to alter a hem then. You seem more up to date then I am.

I suggest a relatively modest dress. You are representing a realtor's office, after all, not a whorehouse. Of course it isn't expected you go completely bundled up but moderation is always best. An inch above the knee, no higher; and an inch below where your breasts begin to swell, no lower, sounds most appropriate.

...and why are you going to jump a man without a face? Are you that desperate, Menthe? I'm sure Charon will be more than eager to oblige. At least he's got all his facial equipment.

Ooh an inch above the knee? Lovely, this will work then. seriously what's up with everyone and the whore comments?

He has no one to love him. He's alone - I'm sure Charon can get someone. This guy's a needier cause.

And by "the knee" I mean the middle of the kneecap. because everyone knows you are one?

...so this is pity sex. How pitiful.

She totally didn't reach down and measure at that, kk? noblerthanall March 12 2009, 23:38:00 UTC
That'll still work...I think...but I get less action than any of my cousins!

...I think you overuse 'pity'.

Inch above the knee? Gracious no! That's far too long. It's a semi-formal isn't it~? Your dress should only be semi-long~

Bring it up to about the thigh. Normally company parties don't go for things so short, but that's the difference between formal and semi-formal~

I've seen some dresses go to the floor though...wouldn't that be semi-long then?

Maybe.

Yes, if it were a semi-long party. That's not what you called it, though~

But you just said the dress should only be semi-long. Maybe, maybe, maybe...
