Donna had been searching through the TARDIS wardrobe for at least a few hours. He turns away from the console, to see her. "Wow! I mean, you look wonderful, Donna!"

She gives him a smile - a rather shy smile at that. Donna? Shy? The words aren't often said in the same sentence. "You sure it's okay? I don't look like a sack of potatoes or owt?"

She walks over to him, adjusting his bowtie, fixing his hair a slight ruffle. "You look very handsome - for an alien."

"Oi! Enough with the hair! Well, then you look very pretty for an Earth girl," he says, removing her hand from his head.

That causes her to laugh a little, her hands nervously toying with the loose strands of her own hair, tucking them behind her ear, then letting them fall loose again, curling them around her fingers.

"So, are there going to be any gorgeous olden day Italian royals or nobles at this ball? Y'know, eyecandy?"
