"Aw, spoilsport. I think you'd make a very handsome centurion! Then again, how would I ever find you in a crowd, hm? I might accidently bring the wrong centurion home, and that would take some explaining."

She smiles. "Can just imagine it now 'oh yes, this is my blue box... it's um... bigger on the inside and travels through time, and space.' I'd be locked up. Or murdered. Or both."

"Well, maybe another time...maybe a Halloween thing, or something," he chuckles. "I think I better stick with my suit now," he straightens his somewhat loose tie.

"One of these days I am going to get you out of that suit." And that sounds far too dodgy, even for Donna. And she is not having mental images of him naked. Nope, nosiree, never ever. Maybe just a little. God, she hopes he can't see into her head because that would be so shaming.

"Right, I'm going to go get changed then."

"I will leave my jacket on the TARDIS, though," he takes it off, putting it on one of the coral struts.

She takes his hand again, running along the street as they watch the parade. Oh, it really is beautiful. With all the time-travelling and alien planets it's easy to forget just how wonderful Earth can be.

"Can you believe it? Me? Donna! In Rio! It's crazy. But brilliant."

"It's really brilliant! I love it," he says giving her hand a squeeze.

She feels like a kid in a candy store, she really does. There's so much to see and take in. She keeps hold of his hand, dragging him along as she explores.

"I didn't go to currency exchange, but I did have some money left over from our last time in London," he holds a few pound notes.

Donna laughs. "You? Rude? Never!" Yep, still teasing. But to be honest, she wouldn't have him any other way than the way he is. It's what makes him the Doctor and what makes him her best mate.

"Okay, okay. No babies, no dogs and no mortgages! Just you, the TARDIS and all of time and space."

"Welllll, yeah...but if I were with someone, that wouldn't be half bad either," he says, thinking it through without really realizing what came out. He does that sometimes.

She gives him a soft smile. Must get lonely travelling the universe alone, after all. "Well then, that settles it. Before you get rid of me, I am going to help you find someone. That special someone who makes your hearts skip a beat when you see them. Yup. My goal, before I leave."

"Donna Noble the match maker? What about you? Don't you want anyone in your life?"

Oh, she's noticed. Especially little shops. "I still say you're very, very brave. Ever been dress shopping with a girl before? Daleks? No problem. Cybermen? Easy. Girl in a dress shop with a big wad of notes? Run for your life."

"Yeah, I think I am, but like I said, I'll keep busy," he says, entering with her, looking at his surroundings.

Ever seen a kid in a candy store? It's very similar to Donna in a dress shop. Glee. Pure glee. "Well... you keep out of trouble and I'll be over... there..." She signals to just about all of the shop "trying things on!!"

The Doctor is overjoyed that she's happy. "You do that, I'm going to look around, get a thing or two," he says, thinking of a TARDIS blue tie and cummerbund.

Donna joins him at the console. Heels and TARDIS grating? Not a good combination. She slips them off, wiggling her toes against the cool metal. She'll put her heels back on once they get outside. "Going to balls is becoming a bit of a habit for us."

"Yeah...it seems so. But this time, there will not be other kinds of life forms..." He chuckles. "Not that anything is wrong with that, but it would keep in theme of being on Earth," he says, remembering Donna's surprise in New Italy.

"Knowing our luck, there'll be some kind of freak alien invasion now," she teased, heading over to the door, slipping her heels back onto her feet, running her hands over her dress to smooth it.

"As long as Mr Mchandsy isn't in sight I'll be fine."

"No...I think I scared them enough for now," he says, landing the TARDIS.

"Eh, I wouldn't worry about that. I'll be there," he says confidently, with a smile.
