Personally - With the way the economy is going, I say save the fridge throw all your money in it, and then bury it!

Incidentally, he did sort of back out. When I called him back to set up a time to pick up the fridge, he asked if he could get it on Friday... that sounded flaky, so I told him I was going to sell it to someone who could buy it immediately and who offered me more for it. He understood.
